Privacy policy
This is the English translation of our politique de confidentialité. In the event of a discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page explains what personal data is processed when you visit this site, why, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.
Data controller
Maison Rose, 34 rue Bernard Dauchez, 95420 Saint-Gervais, France.
For any question or request about your data: hello@pinkhousestudio.fr.
Given its size and the nature of its activities, Maison Rose is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies and neither writes nor reads any information on your device — no advertising cookies, no social network trackers, no local storage used for tracking. That is why you are not shown a consent banner: consent is required only where information is written to or read from the user's device.
Processing activities
1. Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records, for each request, the IP address, date and time, the page requested, the response code and the browser used.
Purpose: keeping the site secure, available and working correctly, and detecting abuse.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) in protecting our infrastructure.
Retention: 12 months maximum, in line with the retention obligations applicable to online service providers.
2. Audience measurement — Umami
We measure site traffic with Umami, which we host ourselves on our own infrastructure, in France. No data is sent to an advertising network or any third-party service.
Umami sets no cookies and creates no persistent identifier: it records aggregated statistics (page viewed, referring site, country, device and browser type). The IP address is used transiently to derive the country and is not stored. No visitor is tracked across sites or over time.
Purpose: understanding site audience in order to improve its content.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). This processing meets the conditions set by the French data protection authority (CNIL) for audience measurement exempt from consent: a purpose strictly limited to anonymous statistics, no cross-referencing with other processing, and no disclosure to third parties.
Retention: aggregated statistics kept for a maximum of 25 months.
3. Technical error reports — GlitchTip
When an error occurs in your browser, a technical report is sent to our GlitchTip instance, also hosted on our own infrastructure, in France. That report contains the error message, the URL concerned, the browser, and the IP address the request came from.
Purpose: identifying and fixing faults on the site.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining a working service.
Retention: 90 days.
The library required for this monitoring is loaded from the browser.sentry-cdn.com content delivery network (Functional Software, Inc., United States). Loading it exposes your IP address to that operator, without setting any cookie. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. Getting in touch
If you write to the address above, we process the data contained in your message (name, email address, content) in order to reply.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry.
Retention: 3 years from the last exchange, then deletion — or archiving where a contractual relationship has begun.
5. Booking a call
The booking button redirects you to Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States), a third-party service. Once you leave our site, Calendly's privacy policy governs the data you enter there, with Calendly acting as controller for its own service. No Calendly content is embedded in our pages: unless you click, nothing is sent to them.
Recipients and processors
Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged. It is accessible to Maison Rose and to its hosting provider OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), whose servers are located in France. Because Umami and GlitchTip run on that same infrastructure, no audience or error data is entrusted to a third-party provider, apart from the library loading described in point 3.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability. You may also give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to hello@pinkhousestudio.fr. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to who is making the request.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — www.cnil.fr.
